Ideal foot for sewing in beads, sequins and the like, as well as elastic bands and various types of string. It has a guide for beads sewn on the edge of the material.
How to use the bead sewing foot?
- Set the overlock to the desired type of seam.
- Thread the beaded cord through the channel on the bottom side of the foot.
- Attach the foot to the machine.
- Using the flywheel, make two initial stitches to ensure that the beads stay in place.
- Sew the beads to the edge of the fabric, minimally trimming the excess fabric as you sew, or sew along the fold without cutting.
